    7 Billion Destructive Micro-Organisms

Man has recently reached a staggering 7 Billion in total population. When viewing images of Earth from space, I often envision the people on its surface as microscopic organisms. We are so very small compared to this massive sphere we live on and it's hard to imagine that something so small can have such a profound effect. My question is this: Have we became the equivalent of an invasive, destructive organism that is growing out of control and rapidly killing its host? If so, will man suffer the same fate as other viruses and parasites do when they have completedly enveloped and exhausted the resources within its host?

I'm of the opinion that we will eventually extinct ourselves. And I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

I tend to agree, although I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

What is it going to take for conservatives to acknowledge that this is a very real problem that should scare the sh-t out of us?

Here's an interesting thought. Based on humanity's ever increasing demands for non-renewable resources; if we've only used 12% of the total resources available for extraction, we will completely exhaust the planet in about 30 years.
    Cheers to humanity.

Btw : Don't solely blame conservatives. Left-wingers are too busy playing Commie, and only see environmental issues as a political toy. They don't give a real stuff about it either.

I remember watching an Earth documentary where photosynthetic bacteria first evolved and ended up sucking all of the CO2 from the air. This resulted in an ice age and almost global extinction.

We human's aren't too special when it comes to wiping the planet of life... and in many other respects.
