Florida might be a bit low-lying for really long-term investment... I would go for somewhere 40 or more feet above the water, but with a view and sunsets

I don't think it will cause a revolution. I think they are just. It is not overdue because the crisis only occurred in 2008 so governments have been given time to reform the banking system. I don't think they are misguided because I believe they are only raising awareness. I am intrigued by how it is panning out, but I am appauled at the police handling of them.

I think it is simple. The governments of the world need to place limits on banking practices to prevent future crisis of this kind. Unfortunately it seems no one has got the balls to do that.

To be fair, if there is this so called 1% of nasty super-rich types using the rest of us like slaves then surely they work hard to keep in that position. If a company chooses to cheaply manufacture abroad rather than supporting the economy in it's own country then surely the best way to stand up to the company would be to boycott it rather than protest?

The protesters would be better off producing an effective way to inform the so-called 99% they represent of all the 'evil' business practices of certain 1% types and allow the 99% to stand up for themselves rather than someone stage a protest in their name without them even fully knowing in a lot of cases (paticulary with media bias to consider too) why the protesters are there.

This whole occupy thing seems like a bit of a sham to me. It's not good to scare people into thinking that they are controlled by a very small elite when no-one is actually laying down the facts of the situation and protesters start using a handful of statistics to try and justify what their beliefs on the subject are.
