I know this probably won't have anything to do with the current direction this thread is headed in, but I thought I'd post some tracks I've found that are about the New World Order conspiracy theory or related to that issue. Some of them are quite good musically, in fact, if you enjoy rap music.

    Enjoy

Something is wrong with the picture. You don't see any USA citizens risking their lives on rafts toward Cuba. If the "power of language" is to distort reality, then you could keep it.

The president of Russia is Putin's puppet. We don't build walls to keep our citizens from fleeing. If Russia allowed its citizens to leave, that "free" country would also be empty.

Is language taking a beating. Who would have thought the word "free" would apply to such places as Cuba and Russia? Is North Korea "free" too?

Can someone change the title of this thread to reflect the reality of what's being discussed here? I was hoping to read a thread about NWO and instead I find something altogether different.

If you're really going back to the previous thread where you put homosexuality in the same category as having sex with children, you'll find my point was that language has the power to determine reality. But I am curious to see if you follow through on your threat to give up language.

Opinion, and unsubstantiated at that. You claimed it would be impossible to remove President Putin without violence, and Putin is no longer president. Your question was already answered before asked.

I count at least four friends in my immediate circle that emigrated to Canada from Russia, and a multitude of Chinese. I'm sure their circles contain significantly more. I'm afraid your comments aren't so much a condemnation of Cuba or Russia as they are an affirmation of American jingoistic indoctrination.

And what's even funnier is that, even if you convinced me of what you're trying to say, neither Cuba or Russia have implemented the system we were discussing.

I've found this Dublin based online radio station to be a mix of hilarious and interesting. Which is which depends largely on perspective.

Thoughts about people in charge, and others who want to be in charge.

The eyes and hands of government:

One eye darts from side to side within its own borders, scanning the activities of individuals deemed threats while the other eye gazes across the border watching the movements of countries considered hostile. All the while, its hands are affixed to arms of Einstein-minded scientists approved to create weapons capable of eliminating a foe as fast as a child blows out the candles on his/her birthday cake.

    A New World Order:

Will this ride be as bloodless as the French Revolution? As peaceful as the Russian Revolution? Or will it be business as usual--insanity replacing insanity? Who's to tell, just wrap your fingers around the bar and hold on tight. This rollar-coaster ride is going to be a tizzy.

Close your mind, lay the blanket over the grass, and open your picnic basket. Eat, drink, and be merry and stop trying to persuade others to think as you do.

The planet of brotherly love: welcome to earth. It bears resemblance to "Hotel California." The only difference is it isn't the eagles doing the singing, but vultures.

RE: The "Peacefulness" of the 1917 Russian Revolution -- the revolution started at the seizure of power, the political, social and economical revolutions did cause widespread death and destruction - mostly due to the civil war which also began after the revolution.

"To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn't go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing."

-- Denis Healey (Founder of the Bilderberg Group)

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our (Bilderberg) meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."

    -- David Rockefeller

"Capital must protect itself in every way, through combination and through legislation. Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law, the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of wealth, under control of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principle men now engaged in forming an IMPERIALISM of capital to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd. Thus by discrete action we can secure for ourselves what has been generally planned and successfully accomplished."

    Banker's Manifesto of 1934, -- JP Morgan

Make of this what you will. I'm not going to offer my opinion on this either way, but if there truly is such an entity working behind the scenes, the "wacky" conspiracy theorists are uknowingly their greatest allies. Just go with the flow, because if you speak out against us you will be written off as just another nut job just like the rest of them.

Your constitution, through it's slavish adherents, is responsible for many, many more social ills than my 'socialist' contract.

I find the brainwashing your populace goes through in primary and secondary school at least as worrying as anything implemented by the USSR.
