    In Debt to the Devil?

Are we all in debt to the Devil?

The Devil might be the personification of evil but has nonetheless inspired a great deal of creativity down the ages.

Cambridge academic Dr Fred Parker, author of the Devil As Muse, and Reverend Peter Owen-Jones debate the diabolic influence on our culture.

I can't listen to the radio program right now. I'll have to do that later.

I'm not sure the exact context of what's being suggested or stated but off-hand I would say God endowed his creation - through evolution or otherwise - with the ability to be creative. The devil would be part of that. But evil and good are choices.

Eh... just more evidence Europe is going to hell. No pun intended. Maybe.

Notice no Satanist was interviewed and debated. Possibly that cat with the doctoral degree is a Satanist anyways or maybe he's just another bloke with a Ph.D. out looking to make a buck.

    Satan is a woman beater.

    Kidding, of course.

I like how they brought up the other shades/aspects of evil in literature during that conversation. Sorta draws on how evil is a part of all of us and not always that concentrated defiler that is morally distance from us.
