As you know the common denominator is almost always money. I have contended for a long time that be it a left, right or centrist spin the corporate run media paints the picture they want us to see and deletes content. I may no be as overt as what goes on in the Middle East and China but I suspect that it is just as insidious and just as wrong. Perhaps it worse because at least most of the Chinese and Arabs know it's happening.

How is it effecting me and my efforts to get my work published? I have written a diet book. What sets mine apart from all the others is that the information in my book actually gets people to reform their eating habits and lose weight. If my book ever caught fire like all the Atkins and South Beach drivel and lies a lot less people would be seeking medical care for, heart disease, COPD, diabetes and many of the other co-morbidities associated with obesity.

Before you go telling me to put on my tin hat I want you to consider some cold hard facts.

1. US health care is 1/6 of the entire US GDP. No other industry comes close.

2. The leading cause of death and injury in the US is its health care system.

3. The weight loss surgery industry is a multi-billion dollar industry.

I can demonstrate proven success with my protocols. I have contacted every major medical school that has an obesity research program and none of them have returned my calls or emails. I have tested my methods on about 50 people and I am getting about a 70% success rate but I am seeking verification and a properly done study to further validate my findings.

I find it rather strange that they spend millions studying the leptin levels in rats when rats don't have an obesity problem.

I find it strange that medical science has been unable to eradicate any diseases in he past 50 years.

My conspiracy theory says the big money of big pharma and the rest of the medical industrial complex has HUGE influence of the media in order to suppress science, make people sicker and increase their profits.
