Heart disease is really an umbrella term for a host of problems. In America (and parts of Europe i think) it is actually one of the leading causes of death. Do you have a specific heart ailment or condition in mind? I suggest researching the particular cause/aspect and going from there. Good luck!

I think heart disease can cause many conditions that then cause death and there's a heart attack like inky said. Hope that helps. CS
