If I were to use a personal interview in an essay would I talk about it in the third person?

Hey Cool,

I'm assuming you want to quote yourself and the interview. I don't know what is BEST, but I have seen interviews in magazines where the author refers to himself in the third person. It reads better than having every other line be

Me: blah, blah ?
