SING suggestions

Hey there, I have been elected to write my SING for my highschool
For those not familiar it's a city wide event consisting of hour long performances from each highschools individual grades

Anyway,
I have an idea
but i'd like some amusing idea's about the direction this concept can go in
.
.
.

alright so, i kind of had this in mind
the theme would be like horror movie monsters or something. Like frankenstein, dracula, etc. And it's set in a highschool, and the monster kids are like special ed kids essentially, and everyone treats them like crap and makes fun of them, and this one girl (lead character) who makes fun of them, fails out school and has to go to their class, where she realizes they get treated like garbage for no reason, and that everyone should be treated equally (moral)
Along the way she has many funny singing adventures and falls in love with frankenstein..

this is all i have so far
i'm not asking for a script
just Ideas, and Suggestions

Please try to be helpful
thank you!

What exactly is a "SING" ?

I really need that first step before I can start the journey.

Is SING where you make plays about kid's self-esteem, and issues students have in order to try and inspire them?

If that's the case, then the play is a great idea. The topic is boring and preachy enoug that the play idea would give humour and excitement to ti. You may even get people to watch it.

If it's not the case, it's still an amusing idea as long as you don't.. you know... emo it out.

Alright, so, a SING is like this

It's a play, you choose an "appropriate" topic, you know no curses or anything, it is a school production. It has to have songs, a theme, and a moral, and about an hour long, so yeah

and yes, lol, it is supposed to be preachy and boring

Oh...

You might want to ask this idea HERE

I bet you will get a much better response regarding this.

As far as I can tell,it seems like a good idea.

Ungood.
