Just Jim - I overlooked your points, but a late thank you. I've corrected my typo. It's funny now, in hindsight. Dolled. Not quite what I wanted there!

I'm thinking about a re-work of my sick and feeble line because your point is well taken. As is the crystal comment, which I have changed.

I'm going to search for your writing - your avitar makes you look so scholarly and wise . Like how could I not take your advice? LOL

I got the fish thing right off. I thought it worked well. I'll agree that "God-like" does evoke some feeling of pity, and the body hitting the glass bit, I can't recall a fish doing that either, but I thought it worked well, and needed no clearer ending.

reading it a second time makes for an image of some vicious, angry goldfish.
