Faith

Light feigns, and darkness reigns.
For the longest minute,
naught can inhibit.
Overpowers all,
till it stands mighty and tall.
But it cannot last, for it will repeat the past.
And birth a herald,
with power unparalleled.
On golden wings he flies,
and rends darkness from the skies.
And so light gains hold,
on darkness untold.
Our hero triumphed blasphemy,
and is now lost to history.

Well, i guess it came from my religion. I'm pagan, and i really like fantasy (LOTR type stuff) and that day i felt like writing something that truly expressed both my love for my religion and my love for fantasy. and voila!
