Where Does My Story Fit?

Wow, it has been a long time since posting anything here at the forums. Good to be back. So my current idea for a story that I have been writing and developing looks like it is going to be what I would call a short story however without letting it feel dragged out or become lost I feel that it will be longer than a Short Story but shorter than a Novella or Novelette--by traditional standards--and I have no idea where the market for this is. Sure it could be included in a collection of short stories but how would I go about looking for a publisher? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Kimahri!

What is the main theme of your story?

The theme of the story is essentially redemption.

How long are we talking? There are a number of journals that will accept works of up to 10-15k words. Go to duotrope and use the search function.
