The Death of an Aerodrome (deep breath: 45,000 words)
Hello
I'm from 'ull (Hull - East Riding of Yorkshire).
Not sure if I am allowed to post the same message on two different forums?
For the last three or four weeks now, I have been typing away (until the early hours), writing a 45,000 word book about my childhood. The Death of an Aerodrome is a FREE eBook (downloadable using the link below). This is my first book or eBook, so be gentle.

I find it strange that I have to wait until I have posted or received 10 messages before I can add a URL. That's not a problem. What is a problem is that the maximum file size for attaching a .pdf document allowed is around 19.5kb :O)
A friend suggested that I seek a wider readership for my book – hence this message on this writers forum. I wrote my book because I wanted to save an old military airbase in England (once my home) from being demolished. RAF Driffield is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Please feel free to forward my FREE eBook to your family, friends and colleagues. The more people who read my book, the better chance we have of saving RAF Driffield.
Please let me know what you think? Me thinks that it might be a little too dry for some readers. I spent the last few days looking for spelling mistakes and suspect grammar. That said, if you do find anything dodgy, please email me. Also, what do you think about the format (9in x 6in PDF document)? I know that some people don’t consider PDF to be a proper eBook format, but it’s what I know.
Best Wishes
