stupid question but...
i've been using this computer for a couple of years now - mainly for forum browsing (PS3 rules... ahem... sorry) because i can't afford to link my computer up to the net at home. i've written 90 pages of my novel 'Plazma' and have it saved on a flashdrive. this PC does not have Works so i can't transfer pages from it to this PC to post here for critique. what can i do? is there any way that i can upload the contents to this forum?

Well, since you can't actually post a whole .doc to this forum, it doesn't really matter what format you transfer it in.
.txt and .rtf should both be compatible with any Windows machine.

Take the drive to whatever computer you wrote the stories on originally. In Works, do a "Save As..." and save it to a .txt or .rtf format. Most other text editing applications will be able to read those files. Note that you may lose any formatting you've done.
