One of the Keys to Success
I'll let you in with a little secret - something that needs real appreciation. One of the keys to becoming successful - is as follows:
1) Know what you're searching for
2) Know where to look
3) Make sure you find it
And there you have it. A key to success. No joke - the answer is staring you in the face, you just need to see it. Lets just say, you need to shed high light on it...

And the point?
This forum is for critique and advice, not silly little text formatting games.

I don't misunderstand you; I don't see the point in wasting peoples' time by having them read something that contains no merit and is not on the subject of the forum.
Perhaps you misunderstand the forum?

White text aside. As Conner said, What's the point?
Seems like your main motivation was try out your clever white text thing because personally the advice you give seems to be a bit lacking and not very important in writerly sense.
And once again I agree with Conner. The critique and advice forum is normally used for critique on your work and not tips for success.
This seems more like a topic for the lounge.
I understand that you're new, so just giving you the heads up.

OK, I apologise for not posting it in the right forum, though I stand by what I said - as writers, I'm sure you could have found the meaning in this post:
#1 Know what you're searching for: Have a goal in life. Know what you want to do, what you want to be, what you want to get out of this oh so fickle existence. This is one of the most important things any person can ever do - reach for the stars. Know what you want to achieve and have the ambition to inject it into your destiny. But whatever you do, don't have the ambition to become a millionaire. You can't buy happiness.
#2 Know where to look: Know how your going to achieve this goal. If you want to be an author, you need to write books. Do your research, find out the best, most direct path to follow. And make sure you follow it.
#3 Make sure you find it: Never give up. Even more applicable when it comes to trying to find a publisher. Believe in yourself. Never doubt. Believe and the rain will fall. Fall on the hottest day from the bluest sky. Because when we believe, it is our heart that moulds reality.
And the white text was a metaphor to show that finding what you need is not easy. You have to be committed to find it. It also shows that you can draw inspiration from seeming nothingness.
So actually, it was quite a thoughtful thread.

Ach don't listen to ConnorWolf he moans at everythiiiiiiig, jeeez chill man. It's not like it really did waste your time by taking twenty seconds out of your incredibly busy schedual. Also...who cares if theres nothing to critique. It's not hurting you is it? No. It's not affecting you mentally is it? Maybe it seems.

Woah... I certainly didn't mean to cause an argument. I accept now it should have gone in the lounge - as this was called critique and advice I thought this would come under advice. And it's okay now - I've explained my reason for the thread.

Connor has reason to be miffed, to go into the critique and advice section and come in here is a waste of time....nothing against you walkio...it should have been placed in the lounge, something he now knows.
Don't discredit what is being said by another user....

It just needed thinking about. I'm sorry I posted in the wrong forum - is there not a moderator who can move it? In the Ellusionist (magic) forums moderators move threads that are posted in the wrong place.
