My friend, this should go on either the "lounge" or the "how was your week" board. I think Critique and Advice is only for works. I am not an admin, so I don't have the power to move this though...
But to help you out, feeling depressed is something I've been feeling lately, too. There's virtually no way to cure it until you trace the problem to its roots. What's eating at you? A friend? A family member? A sticky situation?
Whatever it is, this is what I always do: I lay down on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I just forget about everything and think about things that make me happy, writing, a silly joke, a good laugh...it always cheers me up after about 15 minutes or more. Talking it out with others also works too.
Do not: eat because you're depressed. It'll get to you later. Trust me on that... O_O
Feel better!!

the summer is here, exercise! take a bike ride or a run, get those endomorphins streaming, that usually does it for me.

dear dude...
sounds like you really need someone to talk to about what caused the depression... if you can't talk to your parents, i'm sure there's a teacher or school counselor willing to listen... or, even if you're not an official member of a church, a pastor/priest/rabbi/whatever...
the important thing is to not try to get through it alone... even one of those help lines many communities have, will be better than just writing... look in the front pages of your local phone book, or ask the information operator... there are caring folks out there who will know how to help you find the help you need...
love and hugs, maia
