How to write a Press Release.

I am writing my own press release for when my children's book is released, hoping the newspaper will print it.

For Immediate release

Magical New Children’s Book Released by Jillian M. Curtis

The Little Prince and His Magic Wand, written by Jillian M. Curtis, will move and delight children from three to ninety-three. Its heart-melting story with its timely and empowering message will enable children and parents alike to recognize, bond, and nurture the special creative gifts each person has brought to share with the world. At a time when so many children and Adults too, need inspiration and values, along comes a delightful, illustrated tale that supplies both. The Little Prince in this book learns an important life lesson by extending himself and his creativity through his journey in finding a miracle. The miracle in life is something everyone wishes to find, and most people find it in the last place they look, within themselves. I wish to teach children that the miracle is in them. Throughout the Little Prince’s journey he is rewarded for his openness and friendship he might otherwise never known that he possessed, and also discovers, and accepts as his gift to the world. Jillian M. Curtis has created a new form of expression – inner virtue. Jillian M. Curtis has such a charming, outgoing and loving imagination to offer children and is often inspired by her own two boys, ages seven and eight. Any child would be fortunate to receive The Little Prince and His Magic Wand as a gift of love! The very entertaining and magical tale will lead readers through the process of expressing creative ideas, and help children develop an appreciation for the simpler things in life.

Do you think I need anything changed or added?

Warmly,
Faerie
