Help! Which perspective is this written from?

Hello,

Im James, my first post (and, to be honest, there won't be too many others) and i'm in need of a little help. I'm doing an English language AS Level course, and i've had to write and short story, and of course, a commentary on it.

Now, the majority of my short is written in the third person, as i talk about characters as 'he' 'she' or 'they', at no point in the story do i use 'i'. However, this is the final paragraph;

"It’s not just the Spaniards who speak Spanish, contrary to popular belief. You see, it was all a publicity stunt. The gullible nature of the public was there to be capitalized on. We Chileans knew that our country was destined for almost certain economic and political demise, and a minority decided to try and do something about it. Me? Well, I’m the head of the minority. Killing two and a half million people in the process might be drastic, but it worked. I’m not a murderer, I’m a realist…"

I'm wondering if that kind of writing (where the narrator directly addresses the reader) has a special name of some sort?

Any help would be much appreiciated. thanks in advance, James.

if the character is refering to themselves in terms of 'me' and 'I', then it is in the first person
