Writing Format

My partner and myself are writing a book on fishing. We are trying to figure out how structure the how to write a book that is being told from the perspective of two people. So do we write it like this "We feel that using a this rod is best" Or should we say "joe thinks that this rod is best" or Jon thinks"...any ideas?

go to the library and find other books like yours... that is, on any subject, but written by co-authors...

see how it's been done by successfully published authors and decide which way works best for you...

love and hugs, maia

Fred: "Joe likes to use the 1/4 ouce wieght to keep the lure suspended and target those lake trout that are about a foot off the bottom, while I like to use the 1/2 ounce to drop the lure right to those trout that are lazing around in the holes. We've both had great success using these two methods, and really, it boils down to preference. Both techniques will produce an abundance of trout provided that you hit the thermal zones the fish prefere."

Joe: "I agree. Fred and I have had many succesful trips before using these two methods. Another method you may wish to try -- although it takes more finese -- is to tie one lure behind the 1/2 ounce sinker, and fix a runner lure just above 1/2 ounce wieght and use a 1/8'th ounce wieght to get the second lure to ride higher. That way you can fish both of the target zones. Keep in mind though, that this methods will require many hours of untangling. however, you can cut down on the problem by using a rotating head North Vietnamese flange swivel. Observe the drawing below for details on how to rig this combination."

I would think that keeping your views seperate and unique would be the way to go. You both have unique skills and want to stress these strengths while complimenting each other's skills- But yeah- this is just what I would think- as the poster above said be sure to check it out in library first.

Disclaimer: Above fishing techniques are bogus and I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to fishing. Use the advice at your own risk

I agree with going for two different perspectives. That can make it even more interesting when the view changes. And because you both might not agree perfectly on everything, you can both share your ideas and opinions, rather than 'we think' on everything.
