Enduring Love
Enduring Love
Silver tears are dry,
I walk through the garden gate.
My white gossamer gown
Catches the morning glow.
The feel of this cool morning
Embraces my pink cheeks.
Scents of spicy lavender waft sweet.
Memories of your warmth
Overtake my mind.
I can still taste the night before.
My lips curl into a smile
Fulfilled, content.
I shall stroll this garden forever.
Swim in turquoise water
And climb lavender hills.
Through forests and dark valleys
Or over bottomless waterfalls
My love for you will endure
Omnipotent.
