What I mean is how I live
What I mean is how I live, and what I live is the truth. So what is the truth except failure or at least the knowledge of failure. Therefore life is failure leading to death. Death is but a part of life and so life is death. We live to die, we run a race that cannot possibly be won. The race of life and death, we cannot win and so we must fail. Life is failure the truth is failure mistakes mean nothing but to fail, to die. And so what I mean is how i live.
As I read through the words i have stained my page with ink, I am perplexed by it's meanin. For I being the author have no reason to have written them, let alone to even feel them. Is it deppresion, I say no I have no reason for deppresion, but yet i know what it doesn't mean.
I think to myself, can this be true, that life has no meaning, of course not life is all we have. Hold on to the precious moments of it you do have because they are your only ones. For there are worse people out there then you that are distracted from life by the blindness of themselves, they wander the path they can't get back from. Don't find yourself on this path. Death is not the end of it all, but the begging of a new life. Our lif is our story and we hold the pen. We write what we feel, see, hear, taste, and where we stand. Our story isn't finished, so we must make it our own, put our signature on the dotted line. For when we leave this life our story, no our legacy is all that is left behind, we leave some last pages blank for those of a new generation to write on. So I make my life known, and may it not be forgotten.
For those people who do not yet understand this concept of my story, pay no attention except to these words, now is the time to pick up your pen and fill your pages of life to the fullest. These words may sound strange or even stupid, but what I mean is how I live.

Very engaging, and thought provoking.
Oh but our race does have a purpose and a greater pleasure to behold when we strike free from the fetters of this earthly plain. For we race not in vain but forward as the advancing grace of God into eternity. What is time to one who has all of eternity before them? What is pain for this short spance when eternal joy waits just beyond the veil? Write your pages, yes, and fill them with all joy of what lay ahead. For who we become is determined not by the pain or pleasure wrought upon us by this temporal place, but by that Perfect Love which draws us close and breathes His love into us. -- Americanwriter 2004 Copyright. Yes I agree but see i didn't mean that our race has no purpose but it explains that later in but maybe you didn't understand that. Nice little thought yourself too.

Death be to my soul. Tyson, you may be a little bit weird, but hey, you're pretty cool. Doom and destruction is my forte, so I can relate, but how about this. We are ever swirling into darkness, as hard as we try, we can never climb out of the abyss and into new life. Our lives are eternally more and more terrible and saddening, we will eventually turn to dust in our hideaway, tears forever pouring from our eyes.

And to you, madame, we can never retain the joys of childhood until we die, and death in itself is sad, therefore, no matter what we do, true happiness can never be obtained.

Perhaps a better way to state it would be to challenge the statement "it is a race we cannot win," from the perspective of faith, for those in Christ, it is already won. That's what I was trying to convey. True, future generations do build upon the foundations we lay, there too they are admonished to "be careful how they build," or in this sense, what they write upon those blank pages we leave behind for others to fill.
The joy I was speaking of maintaining was not the joy of childhood, however, it was maintaining the joy of "what lay ahead," the joy that comes from understanding and siezing the promise of eternity through Christ. Childhood is fleeting and often painful, but it is necessary to look at the present and move toward the future. Always looking back adds a danger of stagnation to one's life and spirit.
But alas, I digress from the intended purpose of the original post. You seek critique not philosophical or theological debate, yes? As a writing, all objections and challenges aside, the piece has merit and in the light of objectivity, it shows a level of introspection that is all too often absent from much (not all) of today's writings. Of course, I may just be gleaning material from the less-than-adequate resources.
Punctuation would be a welcom addition. It was very difficult to read as is as the sentences seemed to have no logical conclusion. Punctuation will help your reader focus, and let them take a breath. Just a thought.
