Just ignore nits like that. They're not worth paying attention to. It's not uncommon for people to do that in debate threads either; ignore an entire post and just point out one stupid little thing.
You say you've got 600,000 words here. Many people write out a couple thousand words and name it 'chapter one' then don't go any further. It makes things impossible to critique; a small piece referencing a larger whole that doesn't exist. You've got an opportunity here to go against that since you've got a completed piece. So post 40,000 words or so. Do it in the Writer's Workshop, where your rights are protected. Show us what you keep claiming you are.
You've talked a nice big game about your brilliance and talent. Now man up and show us something with some meat.

Actually, I haven't quite completed it, but I'm almost finished, so when it's all said and done and I've tidied it up a bit, I'll post more on this site.

Read my post more carefully and you'll see I wasn't picking on your typo, only changing it to a more humorous typo.

I got what you did, it just wasn't that humourous.

Well, not as funny as a 600,000-word diary. Then again, what is?

I agree, it's ridiculous that my bio's lasted five years, it should be half that time, if not a quarter. But on the plus side it's given me much more material to work with. I've chaptered it up to 49 chapters, so I can save the best till last at a nice round 50.

I think you all need a bigger dose of my writing. In a few days, I'll post in the Writer's Workshop.

My advice is to frisbee your computer into the nearest lake then go get a permanent full-time job doing some physical work.

Nykimbur, wow, I can't wait until you post up more of this. I'll be watching the Workshop area with baited breath. I find your writing refreshing and vital, something rarely achieved in this forum.
Ignore the others; I find that in here, the level of petty jealousy can rise pretty high. There are seemingly many published writers with great experience out there who have little better to do than snipe at the few true artists that pass by. They'll abuse anyone with confidence, and you deserve to have confidence by the bucket-load. In fact, I haven't read anything by them that is worth the time.
We have much in common. I too wrote my first novel at 13. I too lost it. I spilled some gravy on the MSS one lunch-time, and my dog ran away with it. He buried it somewhere, and I was grieving for a long time after the loss. I then decided to set up a software gaming business when I was 14, but my mate was a twat so instead I spent my time writing my bio. It is currently at around six million words, and it is truly brilliant.
I think many publishers would be interested in your work, because my Mum told me that mine was fantastic, and had so much detail. Mine revolves around supernatural rituals, fantasy gaming, parallel universes, past lives and the duality of my paper-round and role as deflowerer of virgins. The last bit is an honourary title bestowed on me by my Aunt because she says I have 'come to bed' eyes.
I think you will be a great success because if an average book is 120,000 words, then a publisher is getting five books in one go; that equals five times the profit for all you know-nothing numpties out there. Obviously, my brilliant bio is better than yours, because they get fifty fantastic books.
Don't give up, brother Nykimbur; for though the way is hard and seldom travelled, we shall arrive where we belong, at the very pinnacle of writing. The rest will be left behind, weeping at their empty failures.
By the way, why are you seeing a psychologist? I have to see one because I'm an utter cock. You too?

Okay Vincent, obviously you're taking the piss, but I'll admit, it's a better pisstake than some of the others on here.
