French Revolution - Tim Moore
Sorry: French Revolutions - with an S.
Is it just me, or does any body else find this book incredibly boring, dry, and not very interesting.
Not very much actually happens, so the plot looses points. But it could always recover on writing prowess. Unfortunately it doesn't. It was one of those books that took longer to read than it should, and its prose was dry.
It lacked humour and Moore seems to include pointlessly rare words that sent me to a dictionary.
I did read it approx. 2 years ago, but the experience has stayed with me.
I just wondered if anybody else shared my opinion? Or even if it's anybodies favourite book?
