Glamorama
Just finished this one by Ellis. Good as usual, although I'm starting to get sick of all the repetitive, fashion, empty headed "evil" he hammers on so much. Yeah, okay, people are shallow, I get it.
That said, good read. It really gripped me. Using the film crew throughout was an amazingly brilliant literary device.
At first, I found the body doubles somewhat confusing, mostly because after American Psycho I at first assumed it was the same kind of "no one really pays attention or knows one another" thing, but I caught on pretty quickly and enjoyed all the foreshadowing and mystery it allowed him to play with.
Usual nice bits of sex and gore I've come to love from him.
Brett has become probably my favorite writer over the last few years. He continues to impress me time and time again.
Anyone want to discuss this book or the ending?
