Thumbs up Umberto Eco, Name of the Rose

That book is amazing!!! I think if someone loves theology and pondering on different ideas, this book will just be your new favorite.

It is slow in the beginning but it also doesn't have much action. More action comes on later! I loved it.
Hope you do too!

MLR,

I read this The Name Of The Rose years ago and have now read it twice. You are right, brilliant!

A must read.

Even better, in my opinion, is Foucault's Pendulum by the same author.
