Is this a good title?
We all know how important a good title can be to the success of a book. Given that, I'd love to hear what some of your favorite titles are--regardless of what you thought of the work itself.
I'll start off with five:
"The Name of the Rose," by Umberto Eco
"If on a Winter's Night a Stranger," written by Italo Calvino
John McPhee's "Annals of the Former World"
"Portnoy's Complaint," Philip Roth
"Atlas Shrugged," by Ayn Rand
Anyone else?
