something I am looking forward to.

Well in Virginia Beach they have an advance english class! Unlike my military school... Anyways today (my first; three days late[registration stuff]) I already have to make up 2, yes 2 books. I have to admit I was bumed out, I mean the tests are next weak. However, I was given two books that put an immediate smile on my face.

My teacher handed me Earnest Hemingways 'The Sun Also Rises' and William Faulkners, 'As I Lay Dying'. And well I finally see I got a class I can finally actually look forward to! I don't have to read The Crucible and endless piles of Kurt Vonnegut shorts. I mean the crucible was good, but two years in a row?! And Kurt Vonnegut is a fave of mine, but to much of one author can get boering. So anyways....

As I lay dying is one of the worst Faulkner novels I've ever read. Granted it wasn't horrible, it's just unorganized and hard to follow, even more so than usual. Haven't read that particular Hemingway.

The thing about As I Lay Dying though is it was suppose to be unorganized. It's suppose to make you peice things together; make you think harder.
