Holly Black
Holly Black wrote "Tithe," "Valiant," and co-wrote the "Spiderwick Chronicles." Her stories are based around mythical creatures and I think the best way to decribe them is "dark urban fairytales." I'm still trying to figure out if I like her and I'm wondering if anyone else has read her work.
