Question Stephen King and Hard Boiled Mystery???

Okay, I was browsing through a Walgreens and came across a book that looked quite enticing to read. I rarely purchase books at drugstores, but this one caught my attention. Mainly the cover design and title. I didn't pay much attention to the title as I looked over the back part of the book.

Come to find out (after looking the book over for a moment) I noticed that it was written by Stephan King.

The book is entitled The Colorado King and is published under Hard Crimes.

Apparently, Stephen King wrote a hard boiled detective story and so far it seems pretty decent. I am not a King reader and therefore not sure how it would compare to his other works. It is a recent book that came out this year and wondering if anyone here has read it already or have anything to say about this particular work of fiction.

Welcome back, SGW!

Just a quick correction. It's titled 'The Colorado Kid'. Not King Easy typo considering the author.

Selorian pointed it out to me the other day when we were book shopping. Be sure to let us know your final verdict on it.

Hey Val - thanks for the wb.... and the correction. LOL...

Anyway, yeah I am reading it right now and it starts out fairly good. But I will let you know when I finish it what I think about it. People at work saw me with it and are now wondering about it as well.
