I am only now reading this classic, but better late than never.
Bradbury had a unique talent in writing and it truly shows in this work. Each paragraph is poetic in a sense, and the constant use of symbolism is outstanding.
You will gain from this.

The movie is actually pretty good too... VERY dark, eerie, you name it... I really enjoyed it.

"There are only two things that scare me...Dr. Evil and Carnies. You know, circus folk. They have small hands and smell like cabbage."
This was an excellant book. I really enjoyed it. I got pointed toward it by reading Danse Macabre by Stephen King, in which he raves about Ray Bradbury, and rightly so.
Definitely toward the top of my list, not in the top 10, but probably my top 20.
