Thread: Mystic River

I read this awhile ago, long before the movie came, and have to say it is a very good book. Dennis Lehane is a very talented writer with a unique writing style. His characters are so incredibly well developed you cannot help but feel bad when something goes wrong in their lives. I'm definately going to go pickup some of his other novels soon.

I've been wanting to get around to this one since the movie came out. After Enjoying the book, did you enjoy the movie?

Yeah I did, but as they say, the book was better.
