Anyone who is interested in paranormal stuff involving witches and vampires should give Kim Harrison's 'Hollows' series a go.

The first book entitled 'Dead Witch Walking' was awarded Romantic Time's Best Fantasy novel in 2004 and P.E.A.R.L's (Paranormal Excellence Award for Literature) Best Science Fiction novel of 2004. PEARL also granted Kim Harrison with the Best New Author for that same year.

I loved the series and waited breathlessly for each new book to hit the bookstore shelves.
