After reading Chapter 1, I'm very impressed. He's not all doom and gloom about the field and selling as a first time author.

Care to elaborate?

It isn't all "gloom and doom." I managed to make the leap from published to self published to published. The first book was nonfiction and was accepted by the first publisher I queried. The novels? No one wanted them. My 2nd self published book was a mess. My 1st doesn't count be no one read it.
