    Is anyone else a Clive Cussler fan and sad about the decline in quality?

    The new Isaac Bell/Fargo stuff aside. I'm sorely disappointed that Dirk Pitt especially has become quite inane. The spark has just gone from the writing

    Yeah, he's kinda like Spiderman after he got married in the 90's. Way less cool.
    I also think that the appearance of the 'long lost twins' was too hackneyed and a bit stilted.

    He is stuck in a rut, the same pattern of some evil genius bent on destroying the world and the superman Dirk rescuing the world against insurmountable odds. always gets the girl and destroy a classic car while doing it. Inca Gold was his peak.
