I'm running out of books to read. I find quite a few that contain lots of exposition and talking. I'm really not a fan of that if it's not moving the story forward. I often start reading but lose interest 1/3 to half way through and end up not being able to finish it. Or perhaps I have a short attention span. I don't know. I just really love books that grab your attention and just don't let go.

I'm trying to find books that revolve around the Knights Templar's, witchcraft, 14th century etc. It could be (science) fiction or fantasy. I really love the story of the game Assassins Creed. I recently saw the movie The Season of The Witch. That was fun. I'm also a fan of secret societies, dystopias, mysteries, and conspiracies. I was wondering if anyone knew any books that contain a combination of these ideas? Preferably written in third person.
