Has anybody read the Ethos Effect by L.E. Modesitt Jr.? I'm reading it now for the second time (took me years to get it after I read it at the library) and I find his setting perfect for the views he's making. But it's a rare book and I've never met anybody who's read it. SO, have you? And if so, what did you think?
