Thread: Genre of the century

It seems, especially with music there has been a transition from classical or instrumental pieces to hip-hop and rock nowadays.

Has their been a literary revolution where a specific genre is dominating and grabbing all of the attention nowadays?

Incase you can't tell I'm nto a big reader, although I try, I'm one of those types who has to "want" to read, unlike school which is a "need"

Do you think people have evolved to accept a specific genre, or is there somewhere a poll of the most read genres?
