I've been reading a lot of heavy duty Postmodern authors as of late: David Foster Wallace, Thomas Pynchon, DeLillo, Etc. Feel free to post any of your favorites in this thread!

Neal Stephenson, hands down. I'm also a fan of Italo Calvino.

I'm actually reading the epic Anathem right now. But i'd say the guy was a straight up Sci-Fi writer, No? The book is pretty awesome.
I don't think he is a straight-up science fiction writer. Have you read Cryptonomicon? That's chockfull of non-sf stuff, and the Baroque series has very little to do with sf. Great writer though. I suspect he'd tell you if you asked, too. His stuff has a bit of the Oh-I'm-so-clever about it. Hiro Protagonist my *ss.

Yeah, I guess reading one book is no way to judge an author. I'm enjoying Anathem, post-modern, Sci-Fi, or whatever.
Another author that I've been reading a bit lately whom I would describe as Postmodern is David Mitchell. Cloud Atlas is a must-read.
I'm not familiar with that author but I will add him to my books to look for queue.
