    David Eddings died.

I'm surprised that this has not all ready been mentioned but Fantasy author David Eddings recently died.

Not the best choice of links but I couldn't find the original one I used a day or so ago.

Apologies if this is the wrong section.

I have tried several times to read Eddings work. I have several of his books. Most I picked up as hardbacks from garage sales and thrift book stores. They are pretty books to decorate any bookshelf. I just could never get into his books. Sparhawk, if I am naming the main character right never intrigued me.
It is a big loss for the writing community, though.
    Sorry to hear about it.

His books were among the first fantasy I read. Loved him. Sad to see him move on. All of my favorite authors are starting to get old and die now. I really got to start reading some young guys.

I've read a few of his books. A really good author, in my opinion.
