Fear and Trepidation

i dont understand why things have to be so difficult sometimes. my book is nearly finished (or more correctly was finished 6 months ago, 99th rewrite nearly finished).

I will be self publishing - I had high hopes for a certain niche publisher but they finally said that while they liked my b&d, there wasn't enough s&m. Well I'm not changing so there u go!

Now the endless wrangling about a cover and a title. how hard should that be? it looks like im going to end up with the classic stereotype stockinged leg or tightly laced corset for a cover - what my beloved calls "letting the dog see the rabbit". I had hoped for something more arty, but theres a budget. a small one.

also down to the beloved is my new author picture which will be splashed across the website (more money!!!) as he has a professional photographer who owed him a favour.

I'm not sure i like it, im a jeans and jumper kinda person and the woman in the photo is far too glamorous and showing far too much cleavage to be me. but it was free.

all i need now is the title.
