Over the weekend me, Bentley, and Smudge (not seen in video) went to a place near South Park, Colorado, called Webster Pass. The pass was closed because the heavy snows have already started in the high country, but it was really pretty up there. This is in Pike National Forest.

(If it seems I'm a big short on adjectives to describe the wonderousness of the great outdoors, I'll explain by saying that we had been up there for awhile walking around and my face was frozen.)

And, as promised, here is Smudge's hand in a pic that I took the first time we removed his bandage and cast. (He amputated half of his index finger and the ends of this middle finger and thumb from his right hand in a power saw at work.) (On my birthday, which is 4 November.)
