I'm a big military buff, I like to keep up to date on military tech. For example, I think the US Army should have adoped the XM8 instead of continuing the M16 line. Its a superior weapon hands down. And that India has a better SAM system (Akash) than America's Patriot system.

I wouldn't join the military right now. Would I if America went to war, other than Afghanistan/Iraq? It depends on who we are fighting. I don't want to go toe-to-toe with Russia for example. Their S-400 is scary.

If I did join the military, I think I would join the USAF and pilot either an F-35 or B-2 Spirit. Both are solid planes, and the F-35 should have all the errors worked out when development ends.
