Workshopping the Cow.

Some time ago, I can't remember exactly when, I was inspired to coin the phrase you now see in my avatar and my signature - 'Sometimes, only a cow will do.'
The phrase was a response to an initial phrase I once used from the internet - 'Life is like an artichoke. I don't know why, it just is. Inspired to create a nonsensical philosophical phrase myself, I made the cow thing.
And then during a spur of laughter and nonsense filled hours past midnight, fueled by no narcotics or alcohol, I wrote a poem using the phrase as the framework. The piece had no meaning behind it, no purpose, and no real reason at all. It was just a bunch of words that rhymed.
I did however toy with the idea - and also a suggestion made in the comments - of writing a children's piece behind it. The poem would then be like a song inside the story much like the one in Fantastic Mr. Fox - the Boggis and Bunce and Bean one.
I am completely useless when it comes to writing children's material though. As such, I would like to welcome the idea of workshopping the cow together - anyone who wants to collaborate on this little project of mine is welcome to PM me with ideas and I'll do the same. I've got some small ideas of where this story could go. Eventually though, someone will have to do the writing because I have no idea at all how to even begin writing that kind of material.
This is an open invitation to anyone out here who would like to come up with a collaborative piece on the Cow. Because sometimes, only a cow will do.
