I think writing is like taking a shit. You need time to chew, swallow and digest to make something worthwhile. If you just keep pushing, without the requisite pre-requisites, nothing comes out.


Except a bit of colon and perhaps Dan Brown.

    Well, you certainly made a few good points there. Dan Brown keeps reviving his garbage, and you don't want to force a crap. You could force writing with a result quite different from nothing coming out. The end result often leaves behind diarrhea on paper. A bunch of nonsense that tries really hard to convince readers otherwise.

    If you don't believe me, try it. Pull a three day crunch time with Red Bull pumping through your veins and not a single idea. You'll be amazed at what comes out. Than you'll delete it, unless you want to pull a Dan Brown.
