...in America, that is.
[3:34 PM, Atlanta, GA. A small room in the East Wing of the now, slightly demolished parliament building.]
"Hi, I'm from the American-Norwegian Musical Library Society of America."
"Uh huh, nice to meet you... I guess. You know that title makes absolutely no sense, right?"
"Well, yes, we were going more for eccentricity with the title than logic."
"I see. It's nice to see an honest library society nowadays."
"Thank you. We hold up rather high standards for our studies."
"And what are your studies exactly?"
"Well, have you heard of a little band called Fang Island?"
"No." [coy, now] "Are you pulling some advertising trick on me now?"
"No."
"OK, I believe you. For some reason."
"Why do you think that?"
"That I believe you...? I'm not sure."
"Because Fang Island is good. Really fucking good."
[I leave, a bit disoriented. Stumbling. I manage to find a computer. I've never heard of this band. But I trust American-Norwegian Library Societies of America. So I look them up. Yup. Really fucking good. Not surprised.]
