The journey has lasted about four days so far, and let me tell you. It's a lot of work. I'm lucky in the few aspects that I know people who want to read my book. Hell, they want to read all five. I can honestly say that I can't wait for this 45 day period to be over, because pounding the pavement is really tiring, and honestly I think my knuckles are getting bloody.... Though I suppose I should note this, it's worth it. I really didn't want some literary agent to come in and make changes to what I've worked on for 15 years. Even more so, I didn't want some big publisher to tell me that half the book required change and to talk down to me like I'm an idiot when they're selling MY book. Self publishing, HERE I COME!
