The first time I lost a tooth,
I was about 9 and the tooth
that was loose was the tooth that was chipped.
The tooth that was loose that was chipped was my buck top.
That tooth and I had a recent history in preschool.
Now I'm just glad to get rid of it.

as a bowling ball as my fellow classmates used themselves

My favorite live concert of Buena Vista
Social Club, a favorite Cuban Band.
They sing the best Cuban Jazz
singing of Cuba and their feelings.
The band on stage sang and made
the audience dance on their feet.
I'm on the balcony dancing with my mom
and my gran, listening to the music.
I listen to the Cuban music and sense
my heritage, my Mexican heritage.
The band finished and I went
to see them to get an autograph.
